The Estate, known as Quinta Valencia, is a lovely house in a quiet situation at an altitude of about 840 meters above sea level. It is one of the largest properties on the island and has commanding and panoramic views of the ocean, mountain and valley. It is situated on the edge of a National Park with peace and quiet, beautiful walks and scenery. It is half an hour from the airport and Tazacorte beaches and fish restaurants are 15 minutes away through bananaplantations. The capital of Santa Cruz de La Palma is a 40 minute drive. The nearby picturesque small Spanish town is El Paso with quaint bars and restaurants. The Estate has complete privacy, a place to get away from the world and total peace.
The Main Canarian style manor house has a built area of 500 square metres, with all local marble floors. There are four large bedrooms, with a large independent separate bathroom and shower room (the main bedroom has an ensuite with large bath area set into marble steps with a separate large separate shower area). The main living area has a large sitting room with vaulted wooden ceiling with stone fireplace. Ceiling fans are fitted throughout. A library/office leads off the lounge to one side. On the other side of the lounge there is a delightful dining room which leads into the large, fully fitted American kitchen which has all amenities. Leading off the kitchen area there is another separate suite with ensuite bathroom suitable for staff or further guests. It has its own separate outside access. Outside there are various large patios with a separate covered barbeque area and dining area. A heated 8 x 8 meter swimming pool totally non overlooked completes the perfection.
The total constructed area including pool, barbeque area and terraces totals 700 m2.
There is a separate self contained 1 bedroom guest house of 80 m2 to the side of the main house but set apart. This house has a fully fitted kitchen, dining area, a large lounge and full central heating. It is built of canarian stone with a pitched tiled roof. There is a delightful covered terrace with a formal laid out garden, sunbathing area and a large pond with amazing gold fish.
A caretakers house completes the accommodations having 2 bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom, patio, fish pond. This is set above the main house with access by vehicle from the rear of the property
Numerous gardens both natural and themed have been created. The Estate also has its own registered Vineyard (Shakespeare Estates) of approximately 10,000 square metres. This is presently upkept and rented to the main island vineyard.
The entire estate has an overall square meterage of 45,000 laid out among pines. At the top of the property is a huge water storage tank for watering. The water rights are private and are sold with the property. Further construction is possible for a luxury country hotel, riding stables etc.
It is to be sold privately by the owner for the price of 1,750,000 euros (one million seven hundred and fifty thousand euros)
